Ryanair Offers More Concessions To EU In Aer Lingus Bid

Law360, New York (December 10, 2012, 3:56 PM EST) -- Irish low-cost airline Ryanair Holdings PLC offered more concessions to the European Commission on Friday in the ongoing attempt to win antitrust approval of its proposed €694 million ($906 million) takeover of Aer Lingus Group PLC.

The regulator extended its deadline for deciding whether the merger would pose antitrust problems for European consumers from Feb. 6 to Feb. 27, according to a posting on the EC's website, allowing it more time to consider the airline's offer.
