Dems Accuse GOP Of Posturing On ACA Exchanges, Medicaid

Law360, New York (December 13, 2012, 2:54 PM EST) -- Democrats and the Obama administration pushed back Thursday against criticism that details are lacking on new health insurance exchanges and Medicaid expansion, pointing to states that have significantly progressed and accusing Republicans of refusing to accept that health reform isn’t going away.

The counteroffensive emerged during a hearing of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s health panel, where GOP lawmakers argued that central elements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act are unlikely to be ready as scheduled in 2014.
