Charges Against Pa. Justice Unconstitutional, Atty Says

Law360, Philadelphia (December 11, 2012, 3:17 PM EST) -- Pending corruption charges against Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Joan Orie Melvin should be dropped because they represent an unconstitutional intrusion into an internal disciplinary issue within the state judiciary, attorneys for the justice said in a motion filed in Pennsylvania state court Friday.
