Reed Smith Exits Arbitration, Avoids Conflict-Of-Interest Suit

Law360, New York (December 11, 2012, 8:30 PM EST) -- Reed Smith LLP withdrew from pending arbitration involving the National Network of Digital Schools after NNDS on Friday filed a now-withdrawn lawsuit in Pennsylvania state court alleging a conflict of interest should prevent the firm from representing a management group over an allegedly breached agreement.

On Monday, NNDS withdrew the suit, which also names the American Arbitration Association, in light of Reed Smith's exit.
