United Asks High Court To Settle ADA Reassignment Row

Law360, New York (December 12, 2012, 2:43 PM EST) -- United Air Lines Inc. asked the U.S. Supreme Court last week to review the Seventh Circuit’s ruling that employers are required by the Americans with Disabilities Act to reassign newly disabled workers to vacant jobs, arguing the policy would discriminate against better-qualified applicants.
