DOE Beats Sierra Club Suit Over Ethanol Plant Approval

Law360, New York (December 11, 2012, 7:16 PM EST) -- A federal judge on Tuesday said the Sierra Club lacks standing to sue the U.S. Department of Energy for allegedly failing to adequately perform environmental review procedures in its approval and funding of a proposed ethanol plant in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
