Honda Recalls Nearly 900K Vehicles Over Rollaway Risk

Law360, Chicago (December 12, 2012, 1:15 PM EST) -- American Honda Motor Co. Inc. said Wednesday it was recalling roughly 807,000 SUVs and minivans in the United States and an additional 64,000 abroad because of an issue with the vehicles' ignition interlock feature that could allow the cars to roll away.

The automaker is pulling roughly 318,000 Honda Odyssey minivans and 259,000 Honda Pilot SUVs from the 2003-04 model years and about 230,000 Acura MDX SUVs from the 2003-06 model years stateside. The recall follows a related investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration...
