Ex-Pepper Contract Atty Sues Staffing Firm In Hacking Row

Law360, Philadelphia (December 12, 2012, 4:43 PM EST) -- A Philadelphia attorney sued legal staffing firm Special Counsel in state court Tuesday, claiming the firm discharged him after he filed suit against two other agency employees over alleged hacking into his phone and email accounts.

The attorney, Jeffrey First, claimed that the two employees worked to hack into his accounts when the three were working on projects as contract attorneys for Pepper Hamilton LLP and that the staffing firm unfairly targeted him because of the suits.
