Panama The Latest To File WTO Dispute Against Argentina

Law360, New York (December 13, 2012, 3:07 PM EST) -- Panama on Wednesday filed a dispute against Argentina in the World Trade Organization over restraints on the trading of goods and services, the eighth trade dispute brought against Argentina in the past eight months.

Panama notified the WTO that it has requested consultations with Argentina over certain measures it claims are discriminatory and restrictive, affecting taxes and the registration of companies as well the activities of its financial services providers.
