Chevron Pays Utah $1.8M To Exit Coverage Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (December 13, 2012, 9:05 PM EST) -- Chevron Corp. shelled out $1.8 million to Utah on Thursday to settle allegations that it unlawfully accepted money from a state fund to pay for cleanup costs stemming from leaking storage tanks despite already having its own environmental pollution insurance.
