5th Circ. Paves Way For Form Of Caller ID 'Spoofing'

Law360, New York (December 14, 2012, 4:10 PM EST) -- The Fifth Circuit has ruled that a Mississippi law that outlaws all forms of caller ID spoofing is preempted by a less restrictive federal law that allows the use of the tactic in instances that are not intended to cause harm.
