GAO Breaks Down Medicaid E-Records Participation, Bonuses

Law360, New York (December 14, 2012, 7:35 PM EST) -- Medicaid hospitals participating in the electronic health records incentive program got a much smaller median incentive payment than Medicare hospitals, but had higher participation rates and total payments, according to a government report released Thursday.

The Government Accountability Office looked at the incentive bonuses paid to hospitals participating in the Medicaid e-records program in 2011.
