Federal-Mogul Set To Emerge From Ch. 11

Law360 (November 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal court judge has affirmed Federal-Mogul Corp.'s fourth amended reorganization plan, paving the way for the automotive parts supplier to emerge from Chapter 11 before the end of the year.

Judge Joseph H. Rodriquez of the District Court of Delaware on Tuesday affirmed and adopted a bankruptcy court's confirmation of Federal-Mogul's fourth amended joint plan of reorganization. District court approval was needed because the bankruptcy stemmed from asbestos claims.
