Cheniere, Total Ink 20-Year LNG Export Agreement

Law360, New York (December 17, 2012, 7:44 PM EST) -- Cheniere Energy Partners LP announced Monday that it has inked a 20-year deal to sell liquefied natural gas from its Sabine Pass export terminal to Total SA, landing an anchor customer for a future expansion of the project and salvaging what had been an ill-timed investment by Total into an energy future that collapsed around it.
