Equitable Gas Delays Rate Increases In Pipe Acquisition Deal

Law360, Philadelphia (December 17, 2012, 2:58 PM EST) -- In a settlement agreement filed on Friday, Western Pennsylvania’s Equitable Gas Co. said it would not seek immediate rate increases to pay for maintenance and repairs that may be needed on nearly 400 miles worth of pipeline it intends to acquire from EQT Corp. in the state.
