Provision On Long-Pending Patents Dropped From AIA Bill

Law360, New York (December 17, 2012, 6:54 PM EST) -- Ahead of a U.S. House of Representatives vote slated for Tuesday, the sponsor of a bill to make amendments to the America Invents Act has dropped a potentially controversial section that would have meant some long-pending patent applications might never be issued.
