Chadbourne & Parke Merger Talks Fall Apart

Law360, New York (November 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Chadbourne & Parke LLP said Wednesday that merger talks with U.K.-based Watson Farley & Williams LLP had collapsed amid disputes over several aspects of the proposed deal.

In a statement, Chadbourne said it still hoped to increase its work in London despite the deal falling apart. "Expanding our presence in London remains a key strategic objective of the firm,” said Charles K. O'Neill, the managing partner of Chadbourne.
