Lease Talks Keep $1.5B Fla. Rail Project On Track

Law360, New York (December 19, 2012, 4:37 PM EST) -- Two Florida state transportation agencies have agreed to start negotiations with All Aboard Florida for a lease so it can build an essential part of its $1.5 billion Miami-to-Orlando passenger rail project, the company announced Tuesday.

In a 3-0 vote, a panel of representatives from the Florida Department of Transportation and the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority officially agreed to begin negotiations with the Florida East Coast Industries LLC affiliate, according to a statement.
