Licensing Company Sues Over Patent For Blood Testing Technology

Law360, New York (September 13, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A license holding company representing university researchers has targeted Carolina Liquid Chemistries Corp. in a patent lawsuit over a widely litigated technology for blood testing.

Competitive Technologies Inc., an invention management and licensing company, filed a fresh patent infringement complaint Tuesday against Carolina Liquid, alleging infringement of CTT's patent covering the now-common equipment for homocysteine assays.
