Perdue, Farm Prevail In Chicken Waste Pollution Suit

Law360, Chicago (December 20, 2012, 4:35 PM EST) -- A Maryland federal judge ruled in favor of chicken giant Perdue Farms Inc. and a contractor Thursday in an environmental group's suit alleging the contractor violated the Clean Water Act by polluting the Chesapeake Bay with poultry waste, finding after a bench trial that the group's evidence was insufficient.
