Dems Want FCC To Go Slow On Ownership Reform

Law360 (November 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Senior Democrats want Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin to take his foot off the gas when it comes to his push to change a 32-year-old ban on media cross-ownership.

Representative John Dingell (D-Mich.) and Representative Ed Markey (D-Mass.) both expressed doubts Thursday that the proposal would have enough time to be thoroughly vetted before it comes to a commission vote.
