6th Circ. Resurrects Ex-IRS Employee's Retaliation Claim

Law360, New York (January 3, 2013, 6:45 PM EST) -- The Sixth Circuit on Wednesday revived a retaliation claim brought against the Internal Revenue Service by a former employee who said she applied for and was denied 52 internal positions during her tenure because she filed a discrimination complaint.

Sheryl Taylor filed the discrimination suit in October 2008, alleging the IRS denied her a promotion because of her race and then retaliated against her when she filed a complaint.
