Impax Fights Patent Suit Over Pain Reliever

Law360, New York (November 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Impax Laboratories Inc. is facing a patent infringement lawsuit filed by Endo Pharamecuticals Holdings Inc. and Penwest Pharmaceuticals Co. over the pain reliever Opana ER.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, alleges patent infringement related to Impax's filing of an Abbreviated New Drug Application for a generic version of Opana ER.
