Cohen Seglias Lures Ex-Philly County Judge From Rival Firm

Law360, Philadelphia (January 3, 2013, 12:00 AM EST) -- Retired Philadelphia County judge Gene Cohen has left his position with Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP to join the commercial litigation division at crosstown rival Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC, the firm announced Wednesday.

Judge Cohen, who served as an elected jurist in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas from 1988 to 2005, became a partner at Montgomery McCracken in 2010 after five years practicing commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
