Ex-Pa. Detective’s Age Bias, Retaliation Suit Tossed

Law360, Philadelphia (January 4, 2013, 4:48 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit by a former detective who claimed that he was fired by the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office because of his age and whistleblowing activities.

U.S. District Judge Arthur Schwab ruled that Anthony Hildebrand had failed to demonstrate sufficient evidence of the age discrimination claims and that his remaining claims under Pennsylvania’s whistleblower law belong in state court.
