NIH Stem Cell Research Funding Won't Get High Court Review

Law360, New York (January 7, 2013, 2:18 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to review a D.C. Circuit decision allowing the National Institutes of Health to fund research involving embryonic stem cells, despite arguments that the ruling had allowed the agency to unfairly ignore opposition to the funding.

In a brief order, the high court refused a petition for a writ of certiorari, filed by researchers James L. Sherley and Theresa Deisher, without comment.
