Law360, New York (January 11, 2013, 12:24 PM EST) -- President Obama recently signed into law the Patent Law Treaties Implementation Act of 2012 (U.S. Bill S.3486), which goes into effect in December 2013. The law will allow U.S. citizens and residents to participate in the existing international filing system for design patents via the Hague System Agreement.
