Stalled Uranium Project Budges As Va. Moves To Undo Ban

Law360, New York (January 8, 2013, 6:49 PM EST) -- A Virginia legislative committee on Monday took the first step toward undoing the commonwealth's 30-year ban on uranium mining, bringing developer Virginia Uranium Inc. incrementally closer to harvesting what is believed to be $7 billion worth of radioactive ore in southern Virginia.
