Challenge To DOI's Million-Acre Mining Bar Gets Green Light

Law360, Los Angeles (January 9, 2013, 8:51 PM EST) -- A federal judge on Tuesday refused to dismiss complaints from mine owners and industry associations challenging the U.S. Department of the Interior’s withdrawal of more than one million acres of Arizona land from mining activities but did agree to trim some environmental claims from the consolidated suits.
