Former Qualcomm Unit Fraud Case To Proceed

Law360 (November 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Supreme Court of Mississippi has denied a bid brought by Qualcomm Inc. and the current and former executives of one of the telecommunications giant’s previously shuttered units to have a securities fraud class action against the group dismissed.

On Thursday, the Mississippi high court rejected the plea of the so-called Leap Wireless defendants to overturn a circuit court decision, affirming the lower court’s earlier ruling to deny motions to dismiss and to compel arbitration.
