TransCanada Tapped For $5B LNG Pipeline Project

Law360, New York (January 9, 2013, 3:47 PM EST) -- Progress Energy Canada Ltd. has chosen energy infrastructure developer TransCanada Corp. to build, own and operate a CA$5 billion (US$5.1 billion) pipeline that will link natural gas production sites to a proposed liquefied natural gas export facility in western British Columbia, the companies said Wednesday.
