Presidential Aide Reveals Samsung Bribery Attempt

Law360, New York (November 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Fresh allegations have surfaced in the Samsung Group corruption scandal, after a former legal adviser to South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun revealed on Monday that the company once offered him a cash bribe.

Lee Yong-Chul made his claim public at a press conference held by an alliance of 60 civic organizations campaigning against Samsung, the country's largest company, and its allegedly illegal activities.
