Pa. Sets Rules For Use Of Mine Wastewater In Fracking

Law360, Philadelphia (January 9, 2013, 4:59 PM EST) -- Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection said Wednesday it had finalized a series of rules governing the use of mining runoff in hydraulic fracturing, adding that it hoped to encourage the use of mine wastewater in the burgeoning natural gas drilling industry in the state.
