Sony, Maxell, Fuji Hit With €74.8M Price-Fixing Fine

Law360, New York (November 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Commission has slapped Sony, Fuji and Maxell with fines totaling more than €74 million ($110 million) for allegedly fixing prices on professional videotapes sold in Europe, in a move the antitrust watchdog painted as an example of its ability to go after cartels without tips from immunity applicants.
