Icahn Poised To Pony Up $682M To Raise Transocean Stake

Law360, New York (January 14, 2013, 3:48 PM EST) -- Activist investor Carl Icahn has nearly doubled his stake in offshore drilling giant Transocean Ltd. and plans to pay another $682 million to drive it up even more and emerge as one of the company's largest shareholders, according to a Monday regulatory filing.
