Supreme Court Turns Down Tycoon's Tar Sands Rights Suit

Law360, New York (January 14, 2013, 7:21 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear oil tycoon Jack Grynberg's appeal of the Tenth Circuit's decision not to reinstate a suit claiming Ivanhoe Energy Inc. stole confidential information and used it to gain Ecuadorean tar sand development rights that had previously belonged to Grynberg's companies.
