Justice Thomas Breaks 7-Year Silence With Ivy League Quip

Law360, New York (January 14, 2013, 8:32 PM EST) -- U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has departed from his notoriously tight-lipped courtroom demeanor for the first time since 2006 — but only to poke a little fun at his alma mater, Yale University, the Supreme Court blog reported Monday.

Justice Thomas interjected to crack a joke apparently about the quality of lawyers minted from Yale Law School, from which he graduated in 1974, according to a Twitter post by the SCOTUSBlog.
