Pa. Landowner Sues Energy Cos. To Void Oil-Drilling Lease

Law360, New York (January 15, 2013, 5:23 PM EST) -- A western Pennsylvania landowner brought suit Monday in federal court seeking to void a lease with Sylvan Energy LLC and two Halcon Resources Corp. subsidiaries, saying the companies failed to meet a contractual deadline to start oil- and gas-drilling operations.
