Abstention Shouldn't Doom Union Election Rules, NLRB Says

Law360, New York (January 17, 2013, 6:37 PM EST) -- The National Labor Relations Board told the D.C. Circuit on Wednesday that a former board member had intentionally abstained from voting on a rule to streamline union elections, and that a district court had therefore incorrectly voided the rule for lack of a quorum during the vote.
