Ex-Pepper Contract Atty Drops Hacking Suit Against Partner

Law360, Philadelphia (January 17, 2013, 2:41 PM EST) -- A former contract attorney for Pepper Hamilton LLP who accused a partner at the firm of hacking his email and cellphone dropped his suit on Wednesday, according to a filing in Philadelphia’s Court of Common Pleas.

Jeffrey First sued Pepper Hamilton and partner Barry Boise in November, alleging Boise had hacked into his AOL email account and viewed his incoming and outgoing emails, and that he blocked his home Internet access. First also contended that Boise intercepted outgoing calls on his Comcast phone line.
