EPA To Update Pesticide Export Labeling Requirements

Law360, New York (January 17, 2013, 6:56 PM EST) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is set to revise pesticide labeling standards, requiring pesticides intended for export that are transferred between two registered establishments be labeled with a statement that they aren't registered for use in the U.S.

The agency said it was clarifying the pesticide labeling requirements under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act. The proposed final rule is scheduled to be published in Friday's Federal Register.
