Fed. Circ. Nixes FedEx Loss In Flight Data Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 17, 2013, 3:50 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit ruled Thursday that a lower court had relied on a faulty claim construction when it found that Federal Express Corp. had willfully infringed several Harris Corp. patents covering technology for transmitting flight information stored in an airplane’s “black box.”
