Rite Aid, P&G Contest Experts' Credibility in Fixodent Suit

Law360, Philadelphia (January 17, 2013, 5:50 PM EST) -- Rite Aid Corp. and Procter & Gamble Co. told a Pennsylvania appeals court in a brief Monday that a man who claims Fixodent caused him permanent neurological damage had not shown that a trial court erred in ruling that expert reports didn’t establish a link between the product and his condition.

The companies told the Pennsylvania Superior Court that the defendant’s expert witnesses did not have a “sound foundation” for their overarching opinion that using the dental adhesive could cause copper deficiency myeloneuropathy.
