Cordance Faces Claim Over Amazon’s Software Patent

Law360, New York (November 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a setback for Internet security firm Cordance Corp., a federal court has cleared the way for Amazon.com Inc. to bring a counterclaim for declaratory judgment that Cordance infringed its patent for software linking Internet users to their personal address book information.
