Law360, Los Angeles (January 18, 2013, 7:28 PM EST) -- A Washington federal judge on Tuesday denied a joint request by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and IBM Corp. for more time to meet conditions he added to their $10 million settlement over alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
In a minute order issued on Jan. 15, U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon rejected the parties' request that the case's upcoming Feb. 4 status conference be continued by at least 30 days.
