TD Ameritrade Faces 2nd Suit Over Security Breach

Law360, New York (November 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Online brokerage TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. has acknowledged it is facing another lawsuit relating to a security breach that allegedly allowed spammers to access client e-mail addresses.

In an annual report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday, TD Ameritrade noted that a second purported class action has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging the company failed to adequately secure account holders' private e-mail addresses from spammers, who subsequently sent TD Ameritrade clients e-mail solicitations...
