Obama Outlines Broad Goals In Second Inaugural Address

Law360, New York (January 21, 2013, 6:32 PM EST) -- Striking a more populist tone than four years ago, President Barack H. Obama called for reforms to the tax code and education system, the advancement of renewable energy sources and equal pay for women in his second inaugural address in Washington D.C. on Monday.

The president repeatedly uttered the opening lines of the preamble to the U.S. Constitution, "we the people," and quoted liberally from the Declaration of Independence in urging citizens to work together to solve America's problems.
