Ameritox, Millennium PR Row Over False Ads Suit Booted

Law360, Los Angeles (January 23, 2013, 7:49 PM EST) -- A Maryland federal judge on Friday dismissed lawsuits by Millennium Laboratories Inc. and Ameritox Inc., ending a public relations battle in which the two urine drug testing competitors accused one another of issuing press releases that misrepresented earlier litigation over alleged false advertising.

Millenium and Ameritox had each filed Lanham Act lawsuits accusing one another of mischaracterizing a dispute over advertisements for urine drug testing systems in press releases issued just days after a magistrate judge issued a consent order resolving that litigation.
