GSK Says E-Discovery Co.'s CEO Is Holding Data Hostage

Law360, New York (January 22, 2013, 7:27 PM EST) -- Hand over the cash or the hard drive gets it. That was the ransom demand GlaxoSmithKline PLC says the CEO of an e-discovery company leveled at it, along with a threat to destroy billions of pages of the company's sensitive documents — unless GSK paid him more than $80,000.
