Kasowitz Defends Fees Request In Dewey Ch. 11 Case

Law360, New York (January 23, 2013, 7:03 PM EST) -- Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP asked a New York bankruptcy court Wednesday to approve $1.2 million in fees for representing the official committee of former partners in Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP's bankruptcy, saying the charges are proper and should be allowed despite the U.S. trustee's objections.
